That's a question that many teachers will inquire when their pupils bring home a sheet of paper out of college and inquire,What is this?
The Venn Diagram is a rather simple concept in itself. At a Venn Diagram, you split a set of objects by a different set of items that are either one of those sets or come out of the set but aren't a part of it. Pupils will typically ask,What is a Venn Diagram? As they start to discover that they do not have a very clear definition of exactly what a Venn Diagram is, they will ask more questions about what they can do with this kind of diagram.
A lot of teachers will not have the ability to answer their pupils' concerns, but those who can will need to think of how to describe using Venn Diagrams in a way that will be simple for their students to comprehend. This is usually the situation. Many pupils will find it rather difficult to fix this specific problem for themselves, and it's hard for teachers to ask them to look at those pictures and try to determine what is what without providing them some assistance.
So, how can you tell your students that they have solved the issue of how to solve Venn Diagrams? The best approach to do so is to ask them how much time it took them to determine what each component means. Now, most pupils will have a challenging time answering this question, but that doesn't mean they can't answer this particular question. The answer they have been no. And, for this, you might say something such as,There are only six of them. However, the previous two shapes are the exact same thing. It may be useful to keep in mind that there are two different techniques to solve the problem. And, when you look at the diagram, the very first of the six shapes is just like the next of those two contours, the second shape is like the third shape, and the last shape is like the fourth form.
Let us also say that your student had solved the question of how to solve Venn Diagram by using this type of diagram, and then you asked them,Did you know there are seven different shapes you can use to make a Venn Diagram? The response, they might have been able to give you'd be yes. Again, due to the shape of the diagram, it may be useful to keep in mind that there are two different ways to address the issue. Of course, most students would also probably know that there are seven distinct shapes.
So, you can see that answering a query about how to solve Venn Diagram should be more than an exercise in finding out how many shapes you can use to make a Venn Diagram. It's more than simply carrying the six shapes in the diagram and attempting to figure out what every circle signifies. It's more than just determining whether the last two components are the same, since it ends up that there are in fact eight of them.
